I'm normally a Gator fan but I was a huge fan of this lovely Alabama Football Houndstooth birthday cake!

A very happy Gator Birthday!

I made my friend Kristen her very own Gator Birthday cake... her favorite logo from the Florida Gators is the "F" so I made it out of chocolate and put it on top! The inside was a red velvet and vanilla checkerboard cake. She absolutely loved it!

Busy busy busy!

After spending a wonderful exciting 3 weeks in Europe in August, I came home to plenty of great orders to fulfull!

First off, I made my brother's wedding cake. I only had a day's notice to make it, but it turned out fantastic! It was a yellow butter cake filled with strawberries and frosted with vanilla buttercream.

I made this strawberry cake with vanilla whipped frosting along with the order of white and milk chocolate red velvet truffles for a gal at work.

I am back in the swing of things and it feels great!

Pink and Brown Polka Dot Baby Shower Cake

This cute cake was for a baby shower, obviously for a sweet little girl. The bottom tier is a Davil's Food Chocolate cake filled with chocolate bavarian creme and frosted with chocolate buttercream icing. The top two tiers are strawberry cake with a strawberry glaze filling and frosted with vanilla buttercream icing. The fondant it's all topped with is homemade marshmallow fondant. The marshmallow fondant is not your regular tasteless, thick fondant. It tastes just like sweet marshmallows!

With the pink and brown polka dots, and Gerber daisy topping, it's a perfect cake for this baby girl shower!

Cakes are indivudally priced based on what you need for your event.

Triple Layer Tres Leches Cake with Strawberries

This was a cake made for someone heading to a Mexican Themed potluck dinner. They asked her to bring dessert so she turned to me! Tres Leches cake is made with three different types of milk, mixed with a touch of vanilla and the cake layers are soaked in that mixture. The extra bit of syrup was added into the frosting to give it that much more flavor. It is then topped off with sliced strawberries with a sugar glaze.

I've had many people ask me if I do cakes, and the answer is yes! Just let me know what type of cake you're looking for and I'll be glad to discuss it with you!

Stay tuned for another post next week, I'm working on a cake for a baby shower!
